The Lonely Island strikes again

In an interview with the New York Times, The Lonely Island talks about Saturday Night Live, going to Los Angeles to make their new album, and of course, Michael Bolton. The Lonely Island consists of comedians Andy Samberg, Jorma Taccone, and Akiva Schaffer, and they are known for their comedy skits and songs, featuring such talent as Nicki Minaj, Akon, and recently, Michael Bolton. Their new album is out, and all the ladies are excited to see these comedian cuties come back for another round of laughter. Check out this interview, and of course, Andy Samberg’s favorite feature of California? The cushions.

Tastmakers Choice: Nicki G

New York City can be an isolating place if you can’t find a sense of community.  Luckily, there are hometown bars spread across the city to cure those periods of chronic homesickness.  For San Francisco Giants fans, that bar is Finnerty’s pub in the East Village.  If the 10 ft high orange SF painted on the outside of the bar is convincing enough, walk into this hotspot during game time and you’ll see an ocean of happy Giants fanatics.  The bartenders and regulars welcome anyone with black and orange into the Finnerty’s family.  This bar on 2nd Ave between 13th and 14th St is a great place to kick back and reconnect with your favorite Bay Area ballclub, as long as you don’t bring along anyone in Dodger blue. Beat LA!
