Weekend Planner
It’s the weekend and you can’t be more excited than we are (trust us). We work hard, so it’s only fitting we play hard. By play hard we mean taking in a little ballet at the Brooklyn Museum. The First Saturday’s event at the Brooklyn Museum takes place every first Saturday of the month, allowing the public to enjoy great programs at no cost. This Saturday at the Brooklyn Museum, The Brooklyn Ballet will be putting on a show at 6PM highlighting pieces from their Spring calendar with influences from Stravinsky, Isadora Duncan, and hip-hop. Let’s hope we can all make it down there! Happy Weekend.

Happy Birthday SAMO/Jean-Michel Basquiat
Happy Birthday Jean-Michel Basquiat. It’s no surprise that Jean-Michel Basquiat was the wunderkid of the 80′s along side heavyweights like Andy Warhol, Keith Herring and Julian Schnabel. Basquiat’s works blurred the lines of art with his graffiti and historical references. Sadly a victim to drug use, he succumbed to it and passed away from an overdose on August 12, 1988. Today we remember him for challenging our perceptions and the concept of ”art”.
Vigoss Jeans Spring/Summer 2012 look book
We are planning our Spring/Summer 2012 look book shoot and it has been an experience that has gone form exhaustion to exaltation. I am amazed at the creativity that swims around our space. We had so many ideas for the look book but we’ve finally narrowed it down to the role of art and the impact it has made on our aesthetic value through the years. Super excited. Soon I’ll announce our creative team for the project.
