Denimology has us gushing at the studio. They profiled the LOVE LOVE Spring/Summer 2012 campaign and thought the LOVE LOVE Film. Click the images to see what Denimology had to say. WE heart Denimology.
We extended our “Ode to Love” to film. Scott Simpson took som e amazing footage of Kristina B (Fenton Moon), and her effervescence just bounces off the screen; she has a mesmerizing quality, that it’s so easy to see why she was ideal for the Vigoss LOVE LOVE Spring/Summer 2012 campaign. Pablo Neruda’s Sonnet LXVI was recited to Johann Sebastian Bach’s Cello Suite No.5 II Allamande. Enjoy!
Sonnet LXVI by Pablo Neruda
I do not love you except because I love you;
I go from loving to not loving you,
From waiting to not waiting for you
My heart moves from cold to fire.
I love you only because it’s you the one I love;
I hate you deeply, and hating you
Bend to you, and the measure of my changing love for you
Is that I do not see you but love you blindly.
Maybe January light will consume
My heart with its cruel
Ray, stealing my key to true calm.
In this part of the story I am the one who
Dies, the only one, and I will die of love because I love you,
Because I love you, Love, in fire and blood.

Our LOVE LOVE Spring/Summer 2012 campaign is finally here!
Vigoss took a cue from love for spring/summer 2012. With all that is going on in the world, we had to ask, “Where has love been hiding?” We suspect it was buried by the grey winter months, but we can delight that spring ushers love in anew. Love is the one true art that man has yet to master, so we created a pictorial ode to love, replicating famous works of art (egon schiele, duval eugene emmanuel amaury, rene magritte, jean-auguste-dominique ingres, gustave klimpt, jacque louise david, andrew wyeth, james whistler, lord frederic leighton, and francisco goya) to hopefully illustrate the complexity of love’s unyielding, hopeless, innocent, fervent and vulnerable temperament.
Join us and love love.
